Kaveesha Uppal is an enthusiastic young student at Vasant Valley School, New Delhi, where she is currently studying subjects like English literature, Environmental Studies, Business Studies, History, and Spanish. Her determination and ambition make her advocate for women’s rights amongst the youth, focusing on exercising transformative change. As a participant of the Grace Church School Student Exchange Program in New York City, Kaveesha gained a greater appreciation for cross-cultural dialogue and for inclusive learning environments. Her experience as a Fundraising Volunteer for the VVS × Fuel A Dream Initiative deepened her understanding of how community-led fundraising can make a social impact through collective action. Furthermore, as part of the Les Elfes International Camp in Switzerland, Kaveesha fostered the qualities of leadership, teamwork and resilience, all of which helped shape her approach to building the KYP Network. These experiences together inspired Kaveesha to create a platform to uplift women in underrepresented communities through empowerment by recognizing and using their entrepreneurial potential.
